FCLC Industry Leadership Series Featuring Chris Albers, FCLC '90

Robert Grimes, S.J., dean of Fordham College at Lincoln Center, invites you to join him and your fellow FCLC alumni at the annual Fordham College at Lincoln Center Industry Leadership Series, featuring Emmy-award winning comedy writer, Chris Albers, FCLC ‘90. From 1995 until 2010, Chris Albers was a writer for NBC’s Late Night With Conan O'Brien (later the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien). During his career, he has written for Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Ben Stiller, and David Letterman as well as numerous award shows and specials, including the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Over the years, Chris has won seven Writer's Guild Awards, as well as the Richard B. Jablow Award for devoted service following his two-year tenure as the president of the Writer's Guild of America, East. Chris has been nominated for 15 Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and, in 2007, he won an Emmy Award for his work on Conan O'Brien.
He has taught a comedy-writing course at Columbia University's Graduate Film School and presented seminars at the New York Center for Communication. Currently he is developing and creating shows for several networks. He is also writing an episode of Borgia for the Barry Levinson/Tom Fontana production company.
