Writing a Chronicle in the Late Middle Ages

Chris Given-Wilson, Ph.D., a professor at the University of St. Andrew's in Scotland and a medieval fellow at Fordham's Center for Medieval Studies, will present his lecture:
"Writing a Chronicle in the Late Middle Ages"
The lecture will focus on English chronicles of the late middles ages while suggesting some conclusions more widely applicable to the reading of historical sources.
Professor Given-Wilson is the author of many publications, and the co-editor of the Fourteenth-Century England series. He is on the editorial boards of Boydell and Brewer's series on Medieval Chronicles, the Ancient Petitions Project based at the University of York, the War and Soldier project at the University of Southampton, and CIRCLE at Trinity College Dublin.
