Hear from Janna C. Heyman, Ph.D., Associate Dean and Professor at the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, Associate Director of the Ravazzin Center on Aging and Director of Children and Families Institute.

With the significant growth in the aging population in the US, the landscape of aging is changing. Demographic shifts and the impact of both the labor market and health care policies will be highlighted. The impact of new technologies, healthier lifestyles choice, the value of educational opportunities, and creative arts can enhance the quality of life throughout later years of life. Innovative community practices, such as communities designed for active aging, along with the importance of intergenerational efforts will be underscored. There will be a focus on the significant influence these changes will have on individuals, communities, businesses, and society.

Celebrant: Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham University. Jubilarian classmates who have passed away will be remembered.

This concluding event of Jubilee Weekend is a relaxing way to say goodbye to old and new friends!
