The University proudly recognizes families with a Fordham heritage. During senior week and commencement, there are several unique opportunities for families to celebrate their Fordham legacy. Read more about the events of the Legacy Program, then register below.
Celebrating this year's graduates
Friday, 16 May 2014 | 7 – 8 p.m.
Campbell Atrium of the William D. Walsh Family Library
Rose Hill Campus
Fordham alumni families are invited to join us for a special complimentary reception at Rose Hill toasting the success of this year's graduates—and their parents!
Please note that although seating for the Rose Hill Parent Appreciation Dinner Dance begins at 7:15 p.m., the event will not begin until after this reception, thus families will be able to attend both events.
Parents of Lincoln Center graduates unable to attend the Legacy Reception at Rose Hill will receive a special gift at the Lincoln Center Family Reception.
Legacy Commencement Procession
An exclusive opportunity to join Fordham’s commencement procession
Saturday, 17 May 2014 | 8:30 a.m.
Dealy Hall, Second Floor | Rose Hill Campus
The Legacy Procession is an exclusive opportunity for Fordham alumni parents to join the University's commencement procession and be part of their son or daughter's graduation. After the procession, alumni are seated on the Terrace of Presidents for the duration of the ceremony with the commencement speaker, honorary degree recipients, and other distinguished guests.
Parents will assemble on the second-floor of Dealy Hall, receive a Fordham legacy sash, and join the main procession on Edwards Parade behind the alumni verge and banner bearers.
