Alumni Career Workshop
Wednesday, February 6, 2013 | 6 – 9 p.m.
McMahon Hall 109 | Lincoln Center Campus
Learn proper etiquette for approaching both warm and cold contacts. How do you expand your network and follow-up with former colleagues or personal contacts? What do you say to start the conversation? Become a "Airline" networker not a "Stealth Bomber" or a "Helicopter" networker. Learn how recriuters view the follow-up and the difference between professional follow-up and annoyance. Learn the do's and dont's for business etiquette including e-mail correspondence, letters, phone calls, LinkedIn introductions, Twitter, and digital media.
Workshops are led by Annette McLaughlin, former vice president, talent, coaching, and outplacement at the Response Companies.
